I would like to inform you that activation count will increase as per the attempts that is (License usage monitoring platform) Lump counts all activation attempts in the last 30 days.
If you reinstall the AVG program or reinstall the operating system or change new hard drive your license count will get increase. But, this count will automatically reset after 30 days.
Because our licensing system will consider active device count for last 30 days. So, kindly wait for 30 days from today and check whether you can see correct device count.

I bought a new PC, the hard drive in the old one is failing. I have an AVG Ultimate subscription. I Uninstalled all 4 programs (AVG TuneUp, AVG Internet Security, AVG Secure VPN, and AVG AntiTrack) from the old PC before installing them on the new PC. Then when I went to view my subscriptions online, it said that it's being used on 2 devices - which is wrong.
I searched the online support articles for transferring my subscription. It said I need to deactivate my subscription from within the AVG Secure VPN app on the original device before uninstalling it.
So I hooked up the old computer again and reinstalled the suite of programs so that I could properly deactivate my subscription and then uninstalled them all over again. As I was doing this I was checking my subscriptions status online. At one time it erroneously thought it was being used on three devices.
I'm only using the new computer now, it is very difficult to get the old one to boot. I uninstalled all the AVG apps before retiring it. I have AVG installed on one device only, but the web site still says two. I am unable to fix this error by myself. I need some help.
