Hello, I used a paid licence AVG 2016 which detected Trojan Horse FakeAV.AUQD .
After that I upgrade the AVG for the 2017 version - recommended, this supported version of AVG didn´t detected anything about this. Only some miskatakes in registers detected. I´m not IT specialist to solve all matters by myself.
Does it mean, that this Trojan Horse FakeAV.AUQD was only a mistake made by AVG developer to push on the user to reinstal AVG for supported version 2017?
I´m not sure to use my laptop for standard operation within I will be 100% sure, that this Trojan Horse FakeAV.AUQD was only mistake in AVG or I really had/have virus in my laptop.
I try to use AVAST, Windows defender (Windows 10) and nothing detected there.
This situation is not comfortable for me and I hope, that I will receive a clear answer from AVG company.

There was some issues in AVG 2016 version (which is why we are recommending customer to upgrade their AVG program to 2017 version), also the detection was a false positive. So if you have AVG Internet Security 2017 version installed on your computer, then your computer is protected from all types of malware.
