Appreciate your patience, Richard.

We'd like to confirm that this site http://www.driverupdate.net/ is safe and only Malwarebytes is flagging it. You can check the results here https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/6d5b7e6584fd82698aeee2e448a9c1e303710d51aa3f087cb9119880017b4797/detection.

Forgot to say that Malwarebytes reports the connections and blocks them, but when I did have a pop-up window of yours for updating drivers it would never complete, like it was keeping an open connection to monitor my activity

Is there a Trojan horse or something else?

Hi Richard,

We will certainly check this for you.

Please share us the screenshot of the the threat detection pop up from Malwarebytes program to check and assist you further.

My Malwarebytes virus protection blocks the latest AVG Driver update stating the update contains a Trojan horse.  Is there a Trojan horse or something else?

Hello Jeff,
We are here to help you. The website www.driverupdater.com is not our host. You can click here to find our Driver Updater page.
Regards,
Alok.

My mistake… it is download.driverupdate.net.
If this is your host, how do I stop this service as my Dell PC is kept up to date by Dell themselves
Regards
Jeff

Thank you for the screenshot, Narelle.

It's a false positive and we recommend you to contact Malware Bytes or add AVG Driver Updater in the exception list of MalwareBytes.
