Beginning yesterday afternoon, I have consistently gotten a popup from what I think is the web shield whenever I search for something on Google. Oddly, this doesn't happen when I go directly to a URL, nor when I get there through another method that is not google. A screenshot:
I looked into this by periodically enabling/disabling extensions in chrome incognito mode, then running the trigger. I have found out that this is coming from a chrome extension called Bitwarden, which is a password manager. I haven't had any problems with this extension, even after it was "blocked," but I did look into some exploits online, yet found nothing.
I checked the virus definition and application updates, and they were from the previous day, so if this were a problem that had always existed it would have been a thing for longer. I don't know if it's a false positive or not, but I thought I'd report it here just in case.
