Trouble installing AVG free

when I try to install AVG Free I get an error message "cannot install because McaFee Livsafe
is interfering .  Uninstall McaFee Livesafe"      But I do not seem to have it on my computer.  It is not listed as one of my programs.    Where can I finf it to uninstall it???
