I will check this for you.

Please disable AVG temporarily on your computer and check if you are able to connect to your phone.

To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and you can see a scroll bar to "Disable Protection".

After upgrading my AVG, my computer no longer automatically connects to my phone to download photos.
