Trouble with AVG VPN

Upon checking our records, we see that you've initially reached our phone support & then our colleague has connected to the remote technician. We see that the tech has dealt with AVG Secure VPN (repair, reinstall) & ensured that windows is up to date. 
You can be rest assured that your personal files/apps will not be reviewed/remvoed without your consent, during the remote session. 
It might be a temporary glitch & we'd suggest you to restart your computer once to check, if you've not restarted it. 
However, we see that the ticket has been forwarded to the senior level support. The concerned team will analyse logs collected from your computer & reach you via email at the earliest to proceed further. Please wait for an email from them.

I called tech support to find out why the program, which I purchased today, wouldn't work.  I called in to tech support who then connected me to someone in India.  The upshot is that he took control of my computer and deleted so much stuff that my computer now is barely functional.  All bookmarks erased.  All apps in the taskbar erased.  All logins erased.  In the end he gave up and said someone higher up would email me with the solution.  I should have never started with this program.  Shame on me.  He shouldn't have wiped everything out.  Shame on him.  BEWARE OF CALLING TECHNICAL SUPPORT!
