Trouble with AVG

Everyday, AVG runs scheduled scan after scheduled scan, without turning off my computer. But each scheduled scan is set to turn it off. And every day it says that the last scan was 4 months ago, which is not accurate. Why are these things happening?  Do I need to uninstall and reinstall AVG?

I understand the inconvenience.
These issues are known one and they are fixed in the latest release of the 18.1 version.
I request you to check whether you have the latest version updated.
Open AVG Antivirus/Internet Security interface, click on "Menu–>About" to check the version.
If it shows the old version, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Update" to update to the latest version.
