Hello Mike. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Could you please let me know the type of AVG Program you have installed in your computer? Also, we would request you to end the trustedinstaller.exe program from the task manager on your computer and let us know if the issue still persists. Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance. Thank you.
I am using AVG Internet Security and have just signed up for another year.
I have tried to stop the programme running from Tast Master and it say that the process cannot be stopped.
Can you suggest anything else please
Thanks
Mike

My had drive light is running 100% of the time. I have identified that it is trustedinstaller.exe that is causing the proble. I have disable it from startup and set it to Manual. However trustedinstaller.exe stops for a minute then startsup again. Is this a virus that is not being detected by AVG?
Any help would be appreciated.
