Had same experience, but lousy servicetool - no reply received after running.
Found out you have to install I-tunes on yr PC, therafter it runs fine.

In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output (gather it right after inducing issue) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.

"Unexpected error 0xC0070422" appears after connecting iPad and trying to start scan using Tuneup.
