Trying to install AVG Free Anti Virus on Windows 7 machine and getting 0xc007001d error

I am trying to load the free anti virus software on my computer, which I have just completed a fresh install of windows 7.  I keep getting a 0XC007001d error.  I have tried running the removal tool (to remove any traces of another installation of AVG), but continue to get this error, when I try to install AVG.  Any thoughts on getting passed this error?

My computer is running Windows 7 Home Edition (Service Pack 1) 32 bit operating system.  My installed memory is 2.00 gb, and my processor is a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ 1.84 GHZ.

Hello Dan,
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues to install AVG. The error code represents that the processor you are using on your PC is not compatible. The minimum requirement for AVG latest version installation is an Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE2 instructions set capable. Please consider upgrading your processor to install AVG successfully.
Thank you.
