Greetings,

I apologize for the inconvenience.
AVG rescue center option in AVG Tuneup helps you to undo certain changes made by AVG Tuneup. To access the Rescue Center, click the undo icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp dashboard. You can view a list of actions and click Undo next to any actions you want to reverse.
Then, restart the PC and check it.
We look forward to your response.

We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have and we're truly sorry for discomfort this may caused you.
Have you made any recent changes to your system?
May I know how do you confirm that AVG TuneUp caused this issue?

Please follow the below steps to reset the PC :

  • Try to get into the Windows Recovery Environment (e.g. by holding the power button during the boot logo and forcing a hard shutdown, this will trigger the recovery environment).
  • If that does not work for the first time, then you need to hold down the power button during boot again.
  • After a few restarts the Windows Recovery Environment started with the message “Recovery, It looks like Windows didn't load correctly”.
(Some manufacturers also allow enter to Win Re by pressing some special combination of keys, e.g. Dell after powering up press F8.)
  • Click on “See advanced repair options.
  • Choose “Troubleshoot” then “Reset this PC”
  • Click on “Keep my files” (Remove apps and settings, but keep you personal files)
  • You have to choose user and fill password.
  • Confirm all notifications to restore the PC.
