Thanks for the advice. The story so far is …
I did not action any advice you sent because I attempted system restore as pc
has been slow etc couldnt think of any prog recently loaded.
It took ages and even now I am not sure it completed.
But I have another pc on which I then accessed Internet Security, Tune Up,VPN and
Driver Updater without any problems.
So there is a problem with the original machine I am currently working to restore
back to normal but think there is something seriously wrong.
When that is fixed I will attempt to open the above suites and advise.

Internet Security seems to work, so far
