Mine has been having the same problem and its up to date. I run firefox as well.

Like it seems other users, tune up has not been working properly (ie when it gets to "clean up browser", it will not function).  I had to have the security & tune up installed in january by remote technician because I was having so many problems updating.  That thankfully was successful but since then this other problem surfaced.  I contacted avg who said it was because i had chrome installed and that they were working on the problem. I am paying for this service so would appreciate any advice.
