Tune UP PC not keeping the changes (optimizations)

Hello Balasubramanian,

I am using the paid version, its weird because everything else like disabling start-up / background programs is working just fine. My problem is when I accept the suggestions provided by Tune Up, next  time I boot up my PC those changes are gone ( wall paper is back, graphical effects back )

I recently upgraded to Tune UP 2016, that was supposed to fix these issues.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We request you to first restore the changes made by PC tuneup to your PC.
Open AVG PC tuneup and click no "ALL FUNCTIONS" In that you can find option to "restore changes"
Are you using the trial or paid version of AVG PC tuneup?

Hello,

I installed Tune UP PC in 3 computers ( two win 7 and one win 10) and when I run an optimization it provides advice on some features that I can turn off such as wallpaper, graphic effects, etc. I applied all these suggestions, but next time I trun on my PC ( any of the three) the changes have been undone. In other words it does not save the changes.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for writing back. We request you to try repair installation of your AVG PC Tuneup. Please follow the steps below to repair your PC Tuneup.
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG PC Tuneup in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.
