I have opted to run registry defrag in AVG Tune up. I closed down programs as advised and agreed that it restarts the computer. After a while it was showing a blank coloured screen with the message "Just a moment" in the middle. It has remained like that for about 4 hours now and is unresponsive. What should I do? I'm reluctant to force a shutdown in case registry is damaged by this if defrag is in progress.
Thanks - done forced restart and all is well. Reg defrag ran and completed automatically after restart. Thanks for your help.
