I keep getting a message on my screen when I start up my lap top – This is via a tune up screen  – This message says do I want to renew ?
 
I attempted to stop the message by uninstalling the AVG programs on my lap top. This did not stop the message
 
I searched and searched the AVG web site and took the following steps given to try and cancel the renewal

  1. Downloaded the removal program from AVG – it came up with a lot of errors and did not work
  2. I struggled to find the answer as to how to remove the renewal and eventually found “Cancel the automatic renewal via AVG My Account”. I tried this it did not work
  3. I then tried the second answer    Ïn case the Products tab is not available……… Please do the following”  This did not work either
 
I am staggered at the disaster AVG has created – PLEASE Please cancel the renewal I keep getting which comes up on my screen every time I start
