I certainly understand your concern. Please note that the 4 programs you mentioned might be causing load on your CPU and that is why PC Tuneup recommends them to disabled. I request you to ignore that recommendation and you are good until PC Tuneup does not interfere with the normal operations of those applications. Thank you.

The way I see it I currently can't achieve 100% tuned up because there are about 4 of background programs and startup programs that I don't want to disable because I use them a lot (like Steam). The problem is I can't flag it as 'necessary' for Tuneup so it understands I will never disable this.
So the program can't go above 86% optimized at the moment, and the task bar icon will keep displaying a red exclamation mark, so I always have to go and check manually whether something new to optimise has popped up or not. The earlier TuneUp Utilities didn't have this issue because it didn't take each startup entry separately as a optimization you had to overcome at all cost.
Possible fix for a future update?
