After having re-installed my TuneUp some weeks ago I observed more often a breakdown of Voip and of Internet-connection. Telekom-service-people suspect the TuneUp program to be reponsible, and they told me that I should contact AVG in order to solve the problems. Surely my problems have something to do with the W724 router and with TuneUp. But I think it is not my job to solve such problems.
Today I deinstall TuneUp again, lets see what happens.

Any antivirus program would think some of the .exe files would harm your computer so that they detect some trusted application as a threat and on this case, we have to temporarily disable the antivirus program and install the trusted application and then add it to the exception list of antivirus program.
In your case, we recommend you to disable the Norton program temporarily and then install the AVG PC tuneup through this link: http://www.avg.com/download-file-ins-tuh . Once this is installed, then re-enable the Norton program and add the installed PC tuneup file path to its exception.

Do you face such issue with your internet every time you run Maintenance process in AVG PC TuneUp ?

Today I intended to reinstall Tune-up, in order to check weather the Router-Problem still exists. I first tried to download the newest version from www.avg.com/download-file-ins-tuh . After downloading my Norton Security told me that the Malware PUA.OpenCandy had to be removed. So I stopped reinstalling. Has somebody got the same experience ? I dont know what PUA.OpenCandy does. Is this PUA part of the downloaded AVG file?

I have got a serious Problem with Tuneup combined with a W724V-router (Typ C).
After installing Tuneup in 2 PCs (LAN-connected) there was frequently a breakdown of my Telefon-connection (Voip) and a breakdown of my internet connection, even the local WLAN didnt work. I therefore deinstalled Tuneup and now my router works well (no breakdown since deinstallation). Has anyone an idea what do do ?
Thank you. I dont use any additional program when connecting to internet. After the difficulties occurred, I used Telekom-Netzmanager, to observe better what was going on. The shutdown of internet cannot be traced to any PC-operation. Sometimes it works for hours and the connection brakes during telefoning.

Thanks for your help, At present I have no time for experiments, therefore I would like to postpone the reinstalling TuneUp. With reinstalling I cannot get any new information. The disconnection in the past was sometimes during voice calls and sometimes without any phone touch. Thank you again, maybe I'm going to reinstall Tuneup in 2 weeks around the 10th of january, and we can then get in contact again.

The link that you have provided before http://www.avg.com/download-file-ins-tuh is the correct one for download the AVG PC tuneup setup file but we are sure that the threat detect as Malware PUA is not related to our AVG setup file.
We think that the threat should relate to some other file.

Thanks for the information, now that you have found that Internet connection gets disconnected during voice calls,
so you can try to reinstall AVG PC TuneUp and check if it does any changes to internet connection.
