Hello Vincent,
Thank you for providing the screenshot.
The window that you have provided only shows the Google Chrome cleanup check boxes.
It should be having all other browsers option with check boxes.
The result shown at the bottom (8,082) is the overall files that can be cleaned up and the result that is shown to the right as (734,6MB) is the only possible size that can be cleaned up and the remaining are the files that are related to Windows operating system so if it is removed your PC may not work properly.
The 0,1 MB result is only shown for the Google Chrome browser clean up.

See link for picture, Tuneup says there is more then 700 mb browser files to clean, but it only shows 3 files of 0.1mb, where is the 700mb that needs cleaning??
That still sounds wrong, escpecially when I check the actual size of chrome on my system it is 402mb, so if the 274.8mb include the browser system files, then it should always be bigger then 402mb, which it obviously isn't:S
Tuneup says that the 274.8mb is the space that can be cleared, with all other things that meant free space to be created on my disk, if it is as you say, then why would it in this 1 case be so much different while using the same wording? If something else was meant, shouldn't different words be used?
Sorry if im being difficult, but I still don't get it, and your explanation sounds incorrect to me.
Thank you for providing the complete image.
We can see that you have ticked the check box of Browser databases and that is the reason for the variation in the results.
It is showing only the result for Google Chrome browser databases.
From the entire result of 2,896 only 274,8 MB it is recommended by AVG PC tuneup to remove because the remaining files are highly necessary for the browser to function.
Sorry I should have mentioned that the remaining files are related to the browsers and not as Windows Operating system.
On the scanning of System cache and logs you will get a entire result and from which only few files are recommended for cleaning because the other files are related to Windows Operating system.
If we clear the files that are necessary for the programs to function then the particular program won't work properly so AVG PC tuneup removes only the necessary files that is possible to be removed.

this time a more complete screenshot, as you can see, everything is selected, and I still only have the option to clean 0.1mb, while tuneup says there should be 274.8mb to clean up. I still don't get why there's such a big difference between those numbers (also no clue what happened to the other 460mb that needed cleaning up between this and the last screenshot, but apparantly some got cleared).
Also something I don't get about what you just said, files related to Windows operating system don't show in browsercleanup do they? that wouldn't really make much sense since I'm cleaning browser files, not system files:S
