The optimisation percentage is currently 100% and was last run 3 days ago. Automatic maintenance is off.
The scan appears to be initiated on startup, the machine is not generally left on. This is confirmed by the application event log, which also indicates that the behaviour started on 9th June.
I am currently on Win10 1909, updated on 23 June 2020. Windows scan scheduler is also off, as I first assumed that this was initiating the scan.

I have had Tuneup installed for many years, without problems. Recently I have had regular difficulties with the machine slow to start. The problem is caused by Tuneup initiating a disc scan, even though automatic maintenance is switched off. The machine is Win10 and Windows own disc scan schedule is also off. I have another machine, which does not have Tuneup, it is much lower specification but is quicker to start than the machine with Tuneup.
Is there any way to stop the application scanning?
