Hello Reinhard,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. As desktop shortcuts are deleted during maintenance scan, we request you to uncheck the option for shortcuts under maintenance scan settings.
Open AVG Tuneup ▸ go to Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Automatic Maintenance
Now, you can see the list which will delete during maintenance scan. Please uncheck the option for Broken Shortcuts.
Please try the above steps and let us know if its help you. Thank you.
Hello, thank you very much for the quick response to my request. The proposed solution works. I did not know that the settings for automatic maintenance also apply to manually started maintenance. However, I do not understand why this correct and functioning shortcut on the desktop is suggested by TuneUp for deletion. OK, but now I have a solution.
I have created shortcuts to various drives on the desktop: "C: \ Windows \ explorer.exe / e, I: ". Why are these displayed as damaged links during maintenance with TupeUp? They are always suggested for adjustment. I was able to prevent the deletion by activating the Read-only attribute in the shortcuts in the properties under General. Since the update to version 21.4 (Build 3493) this no longer works, the links are now deleted.
