Tuneup utilities 2014

I have the same issue, I have two licenses (one 32 bit license for 3 PCs and a 64 bit license for 1 PC).
At no point did AVG communicate that these would expire, they were a one time license. You cannot now insist that customers upgrade to a newer "subscription license" just to generate a new annual revenue stream. This was never communicated so you should either continue to support the license or provide a VERY cost effective "one time" upgrade to the new product.
NB: I will be reporting this to UK trading standards.
I look forward to your proposed resolution

Hi Nino,

We understand your concern.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

TuneUp Utilities is an old product for which the support has ended since Dec 2016, which means there will be no more feature upgrades, no compatibility updates to support newer operating systems such as upcoming Windows 10 releases, no critical security updates and no customer support. The product has reached EOL (End Of Life).
We'd request you to upgrade to AVG TuneUp. Visit https://support.avg.com/support_sales?l=en to contact our sales team to know about latest offers or a possible discount to buy AVG TuneUp.

Meanwhile, we have escalated the case to our Senior team. They are investigating the issue further. We will get back to you with a solution to the issue.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi. My two product keys for genuine two TuneUp Utilities2014 discs which have been working for years  have suddenly been rejected yesterday 1st January 2021.  Why ?
The product and the code are genuine. You may stop the support for newer versions of OS but not invalidate the actual genuine purchased and paid for licence and so prevente the program being used, surely.
I would like to receive a solution to this from you technical support team please .
Thank you.

Imagine buying a car for cash (i.e. not on finance, a one-off payment to own the vehicle) and, after a few years, the car manufacturer releases a new model which has a lower specification and must be paid for anually. The manufacturer sends a software update to disable all old models without telling its customers in advance.
I think that's a fair analogy of AVG's strategy here.

O I am so peeved about this!!!
When I bought this it said nothing about this expiring at anytime!!!
Now you want me to buy the newer version (that does NOT have all of the same features that the 2014 one does) and pay 70.00 a year for it!!! I hate the new version!!! Until you put all of the same features back I have NO intention of using it!!!
Are you insane!!!
My 2014 works perfectly fine and I should be able to use it til the end of time THAT IS WHAT I PAID FOR!!!
Why did we not get any warning about this???
