I've now uninstalled Tuneup Utilities and am trying to reinstall but the installer says my product key is not valid. The one I have is for 2013 and I don't have another. I've tried your automated service to send product keys but get no response (after many hours). Could you send me the correct key? I also tried to reply by email and got an autoreply from a robot account.
Tuneup Utilities 2014 gives me updates when I check but they won't install. The installation bar gets to the beginning of 2 out of 3 and then stops – forever. I left it running all night and then tried again in the morning and left it all day with no progress. I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and use AVG Free for antivirus. Internet is connected. I use Windows firewall and AVG installer is not blocked. Suggestions?
I did this on Wednesday, after having an error icon for several days. My message was:
AVG ticket 02304217 14/10/15
"Tray icon shows problem = Maintenance not run for more than 14 days. However, I have run it many times in the last two days and it disappears in the middle of a run and the problem remains."
I started a chat and the person who helped me took over my desktop and tried to uninstall TU in Add/Remove Programs unsuccessfully and eventually ran the uninstaller and then reinstalled.
I don't want to have to uninstall / reinstall this program every three days.

I'm not using a newer version. 2014 is the one I had trouble with before. I seem to be going around in circles and I'm not happy. See my email of 18 October.
I received the product key and installed Tuneup Utilities and now I'm back where I started. Maintenance starts to run and then quits after a few minutes, is incomplete and the error icon is back. What the…?? Is this program fit for purpose?
