Chris, Have you tried contacting the AVG for Android team directly through AVG >> Settings >> Help >> Contact us?. AVG reguarilly pops up a notification on my Galaxy S3 telling me it's updated or that I'm fully protected.  It flashes the blue led on my phone on and off until I acknowledge this by hitting the clear button.  I don't need to know this.  How can I turn it off?
