You can disable this notification from AVG TuneUp settings.
Follow the below steps to disable the notification.
Open AVG TuneUp –> click Menu –> select Settings –> click Notification –> uncheck "When a sleeping program wakes up" option below Background and startup programs.

Turn off notifications does not work. Everytime a program is "woke" I get the program startup displaying and AVG saying hewy, its woke.
PLEASE, when I choose to turn off all notifications make ALL mean ALL. And if you provide more granularity so I can select what I want to be notified for (issues AVG requires a decision be made or a threat I need to address) then I'll know wheat I believe I "need" and you can stop interrupting me with nuisance messages.
I will not renew my numerous subscriptions if you choose to keep distracting me.
