I recently installed replacement HDD in my computer and re-installed AVG together with the latest Nvidia drivers for my three screens... I have a problem with trying to turn AVG off ... right click on the icon lower right of desktop and I get the dialogue box asking if I want 'Stop All Shields'
Both dialogue boxes asking for confirmation at the bottom of this box are MISSING.
I have uninstalled the Nvidia drivers and AVG complies with my wishes to 'Stop All Shields' ... reinstalling the drivers causes both dialogue boxes asking for confirmation at the bottom of this box are MISSING.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall AVG several times ... no luck !
I tried installing a Nvidia driver that was 5 years old ... I have the same problem. I can remember not so long ago I had a mismatch with NordVPN and AVG and just after an AVG update !
With this older Nvidia driver installed, the problem would point to a mismatch in AVG ??
Perhaps you are already aware of this problem ... Please DO come back to me
