Hello Julie,
We're sorry to know this.
Did you configure the Firewall settings as per the recommendation?
1, Open AVG Internet Security and click the Hacker Attacks tile.
2, Click Firewall options ▸ Network profiles - Change all the Networks to "Private" - Click OK to confirm it.

Hi
Since installing AVG last week, my two DVD players which are hooked up to separate TV's can no longer find my WIFI signal. I know the WIFI is working as both my laptop and phone are working on WIFI but the WIFI for my TVs is no longer able to be found. Even a new search and factory reset wont find my WIFI. My mum also can no longer find my WIFI when she visits using her mobile.
Wondering if this has anything to do with the AVG settings and more importantly how do i fix it.
I am not using my laptop to mirror onto the tv, they are completely seperate entities.
Thanks
Julie
Julie, we sincerely apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
I realize that your Wifi connection is not visible on your TV's.
I'm afraid, AVG products are currently not compatible with the TV. It is compatible only with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
May I know, how did you install the AVG products on your TV?
Please mention the operating system of your TV.
Hi Hari
I dont have AVG on my tv.
All i know that as soon as i intalled my AVG that same day i lost the connections to my WIFI on both my tvs, so thought it may have something to do with the firewalls. I wasnt sure how, but that was my thought.
Are you saying there is no way that the firewall could impact on my tv//dvd wifi issues? If so, then i will look to my NBN provider, TV or DVD manufacturer.
i dont know how to identify my operating system of the TV, where do i find that?
I also cant get this new verso=ion on my samsung tab
Thank you Nisha, i have tried this but it is still not fixing the problem.
I dont actually see System Rules -rather i see View Firewall Rules but i then see the same.
Can you please provide any other advice.
Thanks
