I took advantage of the offer in the e-mail and renewed my subscription 2 months before it expired. So now I have 2 subscriptions. The old one has charges for November 2024, the new one charges for September 2025. Why? The new subscription should extend the old one. However, if I cancel the old subscription, 2 months of the new subscription are lost.
