Hi Folta,
I will help you with the issue, .I understand AVG detects tracking cookies every time you run scheduled scan,
and your concern is why AVG dosen't block them before they are downloaded.
Sorry for the inconvenience but these cookies are installed while you browser internet.
Many legit websites use tracking cookies and people find it useful for instance,
if you make frequent purchases from an online store,
you might see an advertisement for a sale at that store when browsing other pages.
So AVG dosen't block them automatically, so that people can browse freely .

You can't delete cookies by closing Firefox browser, please use this link to know how to block or delete cookies

Thank you

I am using AVG Internet Security with Web, email, identity, and firewall features all enabled. Occasionally, a scheduled AVG scan discovers a few tracking cookies. Why are they not cought as they are downloaded? What can I do about it?
BTW: blocking 3rd party cookies is not a viable solution - that often prevents desired Web pages to be downloaded. Plus, I thought I was deleting all cookies automatically on exiting Firefox.

Thank you! That explains it quite well. I was quite worried once I realized AVG classifies tracking cookies as a threat of medium severity! I have now adjusted my Firefox settings to take care of the situation.
