UI fails to load

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with AVG user interface on your Windows XP computer. I request you to check if you have Windows XP SP 3(service pack 3), right click on MyComputer > select properties and check if you have Windows XP SP3. Also please send us a screenshot of the error message (UI failed to load) to assist you better. I upgraded my free version of AVG AntiVirus–since then, the program will not open. I just keeping getting a UI failed to load message.  I've unistalled & reinstalled 4 times, with no success. I'm running windows XP.

Jeff, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
