We're sorry to hear that you're facing this trouble, we regret the inconvenience this may have caused.    
We will certainly check and help you.
We would like to clarify that if you run the smart scan in AVG Internet Security program, the maintenance scan in AVG TuneUp will not run automatically. Both are different programs and both smart scan and maintenance scan do not have interconnection. 
To enable Automatic Maintenance in AVG TuneUp, open AVG TuneUP > go to Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Automatic Maintenance and click the gray (OFF) slider so that it changes to green (ON). The Automatic Maintenance settings screen also allows you to manually select which items AVG TuneUp deletes during Automatic Maintenance.
AVG TuneUp scans your PC every 7 days. Automatic Maintenance is only run if the scan reveals one of the following issues:
    • 100 MB or more of cleanable space on your system
    • 100 or more broken registry items
    • 100 or more broken shortcuts
    • 100 or more tracking cookies

I have subscribed to AVG Ultimate.  Previously on running Smart scan on Internet Security, it used to run TuneUP also.  Now TuneUp is not running on its own after smart scan.and I have to run the program. Please advise. regards
