Ultimate doesn't recognize its self and urges upgrading to Pro

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Have you uninstalled any older version of AVG before installing the ultimate subscription? Did you activate the paid AVG Ultimate subscription as per the instructions in this article http://avgclick.me/ActivateZen ?

I made a retail purchase of AVG Ultimate, which didn't install as indicated in the manual that came with it, that is it didn't follow the path given should it fail to activate and to to "avg.com/retail."  Eventually I wss able to load the program created myaccount which allows me to be doing what I'm doing right now - communicating with the Community.  However, avg doesn't recognize that I have a legitimate product and activation code to be using "Ultimate" and tell me I don't have an account.  Any suggestions?
