Using an Point Of Sale (POS) online program which is not being allowed through the AVG firewall. At the moment I am having to turn firewall off to allow access to POS software. Can I get some relative detailed instructions on how to allow an external program through the firewall when activated. Although it is a stand alone PC would feel more comfortable having the firewall activated.
Lyn, I also request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), after that, please go to AVG Firewall customized settings again > system rules > enable all the AVG firewall system rules if they are not configured, save all the settings and check if you can use Point Of Sale (POS) online program with enabled AVG Firewall.
