We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We request you to follow the instructions to remove the AVG traces and reinstall it. Here are the instructions:
1. Download and run the AVG remover from the link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe and select AVG Protection when it prompts then run the tool.
2. Once the PC is restarted, run the AVG clear tool from the link: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe (NOTE: Click No when the tool prompt for a restart in Safe mode)
3. After restarting the PC, Install the AVG Internet Security program from the Zen window.

As my copy of avg pc tune up was about to expire and due to the current scares I decided to purchase avg ultimate.Prior to the download I had installed a dual operating system on my PC .The original system was Vista and I added windows seven they both work ok and I downloaded AVG ultimate into windows 7 without problems.When I tried to add ultimate to the Vista section the problems started .After much messing about I thought I had won ! I deleted all of the avg programs from the HDD and started to install AVG ultimate .It started to load but on 2 occasions stopped at 60% I started the download again and left it overnight .Imagine my delight when I found it ha loaded something unfortunately it had loaded tune up and Ultimate is nowhere in sight.I am not very good at all this business so if anyone has any advice/ideas I would welcome it//them.
