Ultimate is being replaced by AVG Free Antivirus

Dale, thank you for explaining your concern in detail. Glad to know that you have managed to install and activate AVG Internet Security on your PC. 

Double click 'AVG PC TuneUp' icon on your desktop and check if you see 'My AVG' option at the top right corner of the user interface. This will help us to understand the version you installed and proceed accordingly.

Unfortunately, we couldn't locate any attached files with this post. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I tried to reply to your message sent to my gmail account. In doing so, it deleted the message I replied to. Here is what my reply was, but I don't know how to attach my .docx file showing what happened.

Following your instructions, I re-installed AVG Ultimate on 05/08/2019. Since then AVG Internet Security has not been replaced by AVG Free Antivirus. 
However, AVG PC TuneUp is still there, and AVG TuneUp will not install. The message comes out Installation complete, followed by Installation Failed.
Please see the attached file showing how Control Panel views my AVG installations, as well as what AVG shows.

When I install AVG Ultimate from my paid subscription, within a few minutes, I notice that it has been replaced by AVG Free Antivirus. AVG PC TuneUp is still installed and it still works, but I lose some of the antivirus protection options that were included in AVG Ultimate. I still have over 300 days in my subscription for Ultimate. What can I do to avoid Ultimate being automatically replaced by Free?
