It is indeed disappointing when you have to contact us multiple times about the same issue. I purchased Ultimate for my computer on 13 August 2017. In the purchase price was a bonus upgrade on my android phone to AVG Pro. Since then I have never been able to download it.
On 15 Aug I got this email:
We understand that you are facing issues with PRO subscription activation.We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Please refer to the below steps to activate PRO version in your device.
1. Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Manager -> AVG -> Uninstall.
2. Restart your device once.
3. Open Google play store app on your device.
4. Search for AVG.
5. Locate and install the free version of the app.
6. Now open the installed app.
7. Tap on drawer (3 lines) on top-left of the app and select Login option.
8. Enter your My Account email address and password.
I've done all of the above, numerous times and no good.
Tragically, nothing has worked and I continuously get emails from AVG saying sorry, we know the problem exists and were working on it.
Crikey! How long will it take them to fix this and give me the upgrade to Pro on my phone that I paid for?
