Ultmate AVG/VPN Subscription

Hi,

I've just upgraded from the monthly subscription to the Ultimate subscription with VPN. I tapped to turn on VPN, but it won't. I checked my subscription on the play store, and it says subscription started on 12th May '20 and ends on 20th May '20, (I'm assuming that's when the old one ends and this I won't get charged for this one 'til then). 

Would that be the reason why it won't connect, or do I have to set it up in the settings? Hope you can help.
