Unable to access internet

  1. Reinstall TCP/IP as described below:
**Open Control Panel–>Network and Internet–>Network and Sharing Center and click on "Change adapter settings" in the     left pane.
**Right click on the connection you are using, click on "Properties".
**Click install -> choose "protocol" and click add files. Type "c:\windows\inf" and then click "ok" on the rest of the boxes and close them all.
    6) Restart your computer and you should be able to connect to internet now.
    Thank you.

Graham, the issue has actually started due to the unexpected turn off of the router. I would request you to contact your internet service provider for further assistance. Thank you.

Thank you. Done all above i now get WinError 10041 a protocol was specified in the socket function call that does not supprt the semantics of the socket type requested.
Many thanks.
