I seem to be unable to add a new Android tablet to my AVG account. Error is unspecific. "An error occurred. Contact support". Any ideas?

I understand your concern. Please uninstall any old AVG version installed in your android tablet and the install the latest version from your Google Play Store, Once the product is installed, you can activate the product to pro version by signing in to your AVG MyAccount from the interface of AVG.
