Unable to browse internet with AVG Internet Security protection 'On'

Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer & what happens exactly while accessing the programs with AVG protection enabled.
To check the version : Open AVG - Menu - About.
Do you receive any error message? If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.

I am a subscriber of AVG Internet Security and AVG TuneUp and I have been using these for the last few years but recently (last 3-4 weeks), I am unable to browse internet with AVG Internet Security protection 'On'.

The browsers (Chrome / Opera / Explore) and even apps including AVG (for updates etc) do not connect to the internet an I need to turn off AVG protection to be able to access the internet.

Please advise a solution.

I am using AVG Internet Security Version: 20.4.3125 (build 20.4.5312.577).

As for the error message, it depends on the what i am trying to use. In case of Chrome / Explorer, the requested page fails to open and in case of any app like AVG trying to update the virus definations, the msg received is 'please connect to internet'.

And as mentioned earlier, everything works noramelly when I switch off the protection.
