Hi,
I've had this issue before in 2019 and of course there has been many updates since and I also recently changed my laptop.
I am having a problem connecting/projecting to my Samsung Smart TV....this worked a few months ago but not used it since. Trying tonight it fails to connect, however if I disable "Enhanced Firewall" it connects ok...
What setting is required to allow this? I can not currently identify what app needs to be allowed. My network profiles are all set to PRIVATE. Following a similar request here from 2020 did not help, unfortunately.
Thanks in advance
Ian
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble connecting to your smart TV. I can try to help you troubleshoot the issue. Here are some general steps you can follow:
- Check the network connection: Make sure your smart TV is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. Verify that other devices in your home can connect to the internet without any issues.
- Restart your devices: Turn off your smart TV and any other devices connected to your network, such as your router or modem. Wait for a few minutes, then turn them back on. This can often resolve temporary connectivity problems.
- Verify Wi-Fi settings: Check if your Wi-Fi network is functioning correctly. Ensure that the network name (SSID) and password are correctly entered on your smart TV.
- Move closer to the router: If your smart TV is located far away from the Wi-Fi router, the signal strength may be weak. Try moving your TV closer to the router to see if that improves the connection.
- Update firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your smart TV (https://apklia.com/inat-tv-apk/). Manufacturers often release updates to address connectivity issues and improve overall performance.
- Reset network settings: On your smart TV, navigate to the network settings and try resetting the network configuration. Afterward, reconnect to your Wi-Fi network and see if that resolves the problem.
- Use wired connection: If possible, try connecting your smart TV to the router using an Ethernet cable. This can help determine if the issue is related to Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Contact customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it may be best to reach out to the customer support of your smart TV's manufacturer. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair if necessary.
Remember that these steps are general suggestions, and the specific steps may vary depending on your smart TV model. It's always a good idea to consult your TV's user manual or the manufacturer's website for detailed instructions.

3, Ensure Full protection ▸ Enhanced Firewall is selected in the left panel, enable the "Internet connection sharing mode" then click System rules.
