Hello,  my secure vpn has stopped working about two weeks ago… I have an active subscription, it was working fine before, to me it seems like the internet provider has changed something…  its unable to connect and keep getting the error message: You are offline... when actually Im not… tried restarting laptop, the router… still doesn`t work… can you help me? Thank you

Please try to change the DNS settings on your computer & check if it helps.

tried public, tried private as instructed before… a server address for open connections would solve the problem I think

Please let us know your current geolocation & clarify whether you've tried reinstalling AVG Secure VPN once.
If so, please try to change the network profile from private to public & check.

reinstalled it twice, location is in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, Europe to me it seems like the internet provider somehow blocking vpn to connect…

Please clarify whether you've tried changing the network profile (Open Secure VPN - Menu - Settings - Network security - Change profile to public).

Go to AVG Internet Security >> Menu >> Settings >> Full Protection
Enable the 'Internet Sharing Mode' and also set the Network as 'Private'.
Check if you are able to access the internet when the VPN is established.

Tom, please try to connect to one of the locations under 'Peer to Perr' and verify the situation. 
If the issue persists, we will escalate this to our senior technicians for further assistance.
