I eventually managed to resolve this situation by following the steps listed below:
- At the AVG Zen screen, select the device to delete\remove;
- Once selected, click on the icon representing a cog and labelled "Settings & Support" located at the top right hand corner; a menu will then appear;
- Click on the "Device Settings" option; a new screen will then appear;
- Click on the "Remove from network" option to remove the selected device;
Hope this helps anyone else who has experienced this issue.

Hi,
I have a paid license of AVG Ultimate and have installed it on a number of Windows 10 devices at home. Due to a catastrophic hardware failure unrelated to AVG Ultimate, I have had to forego a notebook on which AVG Ultimate was previously installed.
Whenever I launch AVG Zen and while logged on as the admin user on another notebook, the discarded notebook still appears in the list of devices but I cannot locate any options to delete the discarded notebook in question from the list of devices appearing under AVG Zen.
Required:
1. Please let me know the steps to follow to ensure the discarded notebook no longer appears in AVG Zen;
