I am trying to delete .pdf files, but get the message 'this action can't be completed because the file is open in AVG antivirus'
I have switched off the antivirus and tried, but to no avail.
I'm having this problem as well. My virus definitions are up to date, and when I instructed the software to update itself it indicated that it also is up to date. Following is the exact error I get.

Our developers are working hard to find the permanent solution. Your patience & support is much appreciated. We request you to disable Senstive Data Shield components and then try to delete your PDF files.
Go to Internet Security -> Privacy -> Sensitive Data Shield -> Open -> Settings at the bottom left corner to disable it.

Please let us know the name of the application that you re trying to open. Are you getting any error message while opening the application? If so please share us the screenshot of the error message to assist you further.
