Unable to get AVG uninstalled to get it to working

Library/Caches
Library/Container
Library/Preferences

Now try to install AVG and it should work.

Hi,

I was unable to get AVG opened on my MAC. 

To resolve this, I attempted to uninstall and re-install AVG. 

However, after removing AVG and all its files, I am unable to get AVG installed after downloading a fresh download. 

The Mac Book states the following error:

Installation Error
AVG Antivirus is already installed, please uninstall the previous version first.

I have tried all steps on the AVG article online. Please Advise ASAP

Hi,

Again, I tried all and no AVG files were found or folders, anywhere. 

I have even removed cookies. 

This did not help

So pls advise…

Rik, in this case, we will have to remove the traces of AVG using our tool.
An email instruction has been sent to you which will help you to download and run the tool.
Keep us posted.

Pls advie if this should work for Mac?

I am sorry if the instructions were not clear, Rik.
We did meant them to work on your Mac. Do you see any files or folders related to AVG when you navigated to the above mentioned locations on your Mac?
If you did see, were you able to remove them?
