Thank you for your reply. That really helped!
Unfortunately I first downloaded and started AVG Clear instead of AVG Remover. Now I see at any start of my PC a screen asking what OS I want to use, see attachment.
How can I get rid of it?
Best Regards,
Martin
Hi Martin,
It seems that the traces of old version AVG PC TuneUp is still present on your computer.
We request you to run AVG remover tool as mentioned in this article to remove its traces.
NOTE: If no AVG programs found, click on "run anyway" to proceed with removal.
Keep us posted.
Hi team,
I just tried to install my AVG TuneUp tool on a second device. The attempt failed with the error message "Diese App steht im Konflikt mit AVG PC TuneUp. Um die Installation abzuschließen, deinstallieren Sie AVG PC TuneUp".
(translation: App is conflicting with PC TuneUp. In order to complete the installation please uninstall PC TuneUp). The message is added by a button "uninstall".
However, clicking the this button has no effect, seems to be a loop.
Looking at Apps & Features in the system settings I can see the entry "AVG PC TuneUp" but when I try to uninstall there I get the message "unable to find C:\Program Files (X86)\AVG\Setup\avgsetupx.exe.
Any idea how to fix it?
Thanks for your support!
Cheers,
Martin

Martin, please click on the Windows 10 and check if it works.
Did you select "No" when you get a prompt for the "Safe mode"?
Keep us posted.
Martin, please remove the AVG Clear from the MSconfig.
Open the run command -> MSconfig -> select the boot option -> then remove the AVG Clear from the location.
Keep us posted.
Clicking on Windows works but I get this screen every time I'm starting my computer again.
I tried to start the program in "safe mode", as recommended, but then the monitor remained dark and I had to reset the PC.
