Since yesterday I have been unable access my own logon account on my PC - I'm having to do so via my daughter's log-on. The message I get is -
'Your user logon service failed the logon. User Profile cannot be loaded'.
I've now attempted to run AVG Computer Scan from my daughter's logon but am unable to do so - I keep on getting the 'Your Pro Trial has expired' - this takes over from the 'activities' screen so I am unable to scan.
I am the only user with Administrative Rights - your advice would be appreciated!
I ahve the free version of AVG installed - have been using it for many years.
I haven't purchased any programs, just the free versions.
You haven't yet said anything about the particular problems that I'm experiencing - eg not being able to run an AVG Scan - and if there may be some connection with not being able to log on to my account.

Thank you for the information. It seems you have installed the 30 days trial version of AVG Protection and it would have been expired now. Do you have your daughter user account on the same PC you are experiencing the issue? You could try to follow the "Method 1" in this Microsoft article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947215 . We suggest you to do this with a computer technician's help. Once you are able to logon to your admin account, please follow the steps in this article http://avgclick.me/removeAVGtrialpopup to downgrade to expired trial version to free version.
