My husband has downloaded various computer games from a site called "Origin" over last couple of years and has been able to play them no problem. However, a couple of weeks ago he downloaded one and has not been able to play it at all. He has been on to the support for Origin and they are saying it's because of AVG on our computer and the possible way to rectify it is to either disable AVG or remove it from our computer. Can anyone suggest an alternative to Origins suggestion as by doing either we leave ourselves open to problems. We have the following AVG programmes on our computer - TuneUp; Secure VPN; Internet Security; Driver Update & AntiTrack.

In order to check if AVG is causing the issue, we may need to disable AVG protection temporarily.
If disabling the protection fixes the issue, then follow the steps that are mentioned below 'Disable individual components' in the above provided article to identify the component that causes the issue & let us know.
