Unable to properly install nor remove Free antivirus

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I really appreciate your efforts in resolving the issue. Did you earlier try to use 'AVG Remover Tool' to remove AVG traces and then did you install Visual C++ Redistributable package from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 ? Hello,
I've been trying to install the free version of AVG, but each time I do, I get an error code (0xC0070643). When I attempt to remove AVG from my pc with the remover tool, I end up getting another error (MSVCP110.dll missing). 
I've followed all of the istructions given to another user with the same issues, downloaded the correct version 64 bit, and do not have another anti-virus on my PC. Still no luck.
Please help.

I used the AVG Remover Tool, installed Visual C++ and then attempted to install AVG and got another error: 0xe001f90b
